Terms & Conditions
General Terms and Conditions governing vehicle relocation & transportation services provided by Car Transport Service Bike Shifting Services.
1. Agreement to Terms & Scope of Service
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "Customer" or "Consignor") and (the "Company", "we", or "us"). By booking, paying an advance deposit, or handing over your car, two-wheeler, or goods for transportation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms outlined herein.
2. Quotations, Pricing & Route Estimation
- All initial quotations generated through our website, phone call, or WhatsApp are estimated based on declared vehicle model, destination city, and standard carrier availability.
- Final pricing is subject to physical vehicle verification during pickup (e.g., ground clearance, custom luggage inside vehicle, non-standard modifications, or non-operational status).
- Toll taxes, national highway FASTag fees, green taxes, and interstate border entry permits are included in the agreed quotation unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Any additional octroi charges, local municipal entry taxes, or crane/flatbed tow charges required for non-running vehicles shall be billed separately at actuals.
3. Mandatory Vehicle Handover Checklist
Before handing over the vehicle to our logistics representative, the customer must ensure the following requirements are fulfilled:
Mandatory Documents
- Original or self-attested Copy of Vehicle RC (Registration Certificate)
- Valid Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance Policy copy
- Valid Pollution Under Control (PUC) Certificate
- Government ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / Passport) of Consignor
Prohibited Items & Valuables
- Zero personal valuables (cash, jewelry, gold, legal deeds, laptops) inside vehicle
- Zero inflammable liquids, gas cylinders, fireworks, or contraband goods
- Fuel tank must be kept below 1/4th level for fire safety regulations
- Remove loose external accessories, antennas, or dashcams
Note: The Company shall not be held liable for any loss of personal belongings left unattended inside the vehicle in violation of this safety policy.
4. Vehicle Inspection & Lorry Receipt (LR)
At the time of pickup, a joint physical inspection will be conducted by our executive and the customer. A digital/physical Vehicle Condition Report documenting existing scratches, dents, odometer reading, fuel level, and spare tyre condition will be signed by both parties.
Upon pickup, an official Lorry Receipt (LR / Bilty) containing tracking ID and vehicle details will be issued to the consignor.
5. Delivery Timelines & Force Majeure
We make every diligent effort to deliver your vehicle within the estimated transit schedule provided at the time of booking. However, delivery timelines are indicative and may be subject to uncontrollable factors, including:
- Severe weather conditions, cyclones, floods, or heavy monsoon waterlogging.
- National Highway blockages, landslides, or state border transport strikes.
- RTO regulatory checks, highway security checkpoints, or statutory curfew orders.
In such unforeseen events (Force Majeure), the Company shall keep the customer continuously updated via tracking and shall not be liable for penalty compensation due to transit delays beyond human control.
6. Transit Insurance & Damage Claims Policy
Transit insurance covers accidental loss, fire, overturn, or external physical collision damage during transit on national highway routes.
- Claim Notification Window: Any transit-related exterior physical damage must be reported immediately upon delivery and explicitly endorsed on the delivery copy of the Lorry Receipt (LR) in the presence of the delivery driver.
- Pre-existing Conditions: Pre-existing scratches, stone chips, paint fading, rust, or existing mechanical/electrical component wear and tear documented during pickup inspection are excluded from transit claims.
- Insurance Settlement: Claims are surveyed and settled by the authorized government-recognized insurance underwriter in accordance with their standard marine/transit policy terms.
7. Payment Milestones & Billing
Payment for vehicle transportation must be cleared as per the agreed schedule:
- Booking Advance / Token Deposit at the time of booking confirmation.
- Part payment upon vehicle pickup and container carrier loading.
- Final balance clearance prior to vehicle unloading and doorstep key handover.
Payments should only be made to our verified official company bank account / UPI IDs. We do not accept responsibility for cash handed over to unauthorized individual personnel without an official receipt.
8. Governing Law & Legal Jurisdiction
These terms and all transportation contracts entered into with Car Transport Service Bike Shifting Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi, India.
